Legal notice

This page identifies the person who runs this site and sells the programmes and guidance available on it, as required by Portuguese Decree-Law No. 7/2004 on electronic commerce, Portuguese Decree-Law No. 24/2014 on distance contracts, and the equivalent rules on identifying the trader in the European Union and other countries.

What we sell

Helora Terap sells digital emotional-wellbeing programmes of an educational nature, and an educational guidance service by email:

• 6 written programmes (Anxiety and Stress, Self-Esteem and Confidence, Communication for Couples, Conflict and Reconnection for Couples, Mindful Parenting, Family Relationships and Boundaries), each with 8 lessons, at €49 each;
• three one-off payment plans that include all 6 programmes: Essential (€129), Guided (€290, with 6 weeks of email guidance) and Complete (€590, with 12 weeks of email guidance and a personalised written plan).

All prices are in euros and are charged only once. Nothing is sent by post, nothing renews and no subscription is created. The contents of each programme and each plan are described on this site and summarised again before payment.

What we do not sell

Helora Terap is an online education business. It is not a clinic, a practice or a health service, it does not provide psychology, psychotherapy or medical services, it does not diagnose or treat anyone and it has no premises open to the public. In Portugal, the practice of psychology is reserved for psychologists registered with the Order of Portuguese Psychologists (Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses). Read the wellbeing notice.

Who we sell to

We sell worldwide to people aged 18 or over. We do not sell to anyone in a country subject to comprehensive international sanctions, and Stripe independently blocks payments it is not authorised to process.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Charges appear on your statement as HELORATERAP.

Complaints and disputes

Write to suporte@heloraterap.com first. We reply within one working day and would rather solve a problem than argue about it.

Complaints book. Under Portuguese law, you can file a complaint in the official Livro de Reclamações (the Portuguese electronic complaints book) at livroreclamacoes.pt. The complaint is sent both to us and to the competent authority.

Alternative dispute resolution. If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly with us, you can turn to a consumer arbitration centre. CNIACC, the Portuguese National Centre for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Disputes (cniacc.pt), handles disputes anywhere in Portugal where no regional centre has jurisdiction, and the full list of authorised centres is published on the Portuguese Consumer Portal (consumidor.gov.pt). Consumers in other European Union countries can also contact the European Consumer Centre in their own country.
